Our cats are first and foremost our pets and we love and interact with them on a daily basis. At any given time we may have between 6 - 8 adult cats and several kittens on the ranch, so to keep from becoming the crazy cat lady I have added a sunroom/catroom to our home, built by my loving husband and middle son. The cats still have access to the main part of our home, as the cat room is directly off of our livingroom, but we can confine them to the room if need be and the boys spend most of thier time out there, as un-neutered boys tend to be a little stinky at times. the mothers with babies spend their time there as it gives them more privacy. We try to keep it like a little luxury suit for the cats, they really seem to like it, especially sitting in front of the many windows, soaking up the morning sun.
